For applications of electronic smoke, Siliup provide series low-voltage high current, low-voltage low current and low current MOSFET function as short-circuit protection and overcharge protection. Electronic smoke atomizes smoke oil by heating the surrounding liquid into aerosol through high current heating coil. Related circuit need short-circuit protection and overcharge protection.
Short-circuit protection: the low-voltage reset function of the chip is used to realize the short-circuit protection of the electronic smoke. If the LVR of the chip is set at a certain voltage, when the load end is short-circuited, the VDD pin of the chip will pull down circuit to a certain voltage, then the chip is reset, and the control pin of the MOSFET returns to the state when power on, that is, the low-level cut-off to protect the device.
Overcharge protection: since the battery is directly connected to the VDD of the chip, use the internal reference voltage of the chip as the input and VDD as the reference. Because the internal reference voltage is fixed, as long as the voltage on the VDD changes, the collected AD value will also change accordingly. Then the voltage at the battery end is calculated. When the chip detects that the battery voltage is higher than a certain voltage, the control pin of MOSFET will output a low-level voltage to cut off the charging circuit between the charging end and the battery, to prevent the battery from overcharging.
